Sentinel Student Care
serving our local community
Sentinel recognizes there are several local families in need of student care this year. In partnership with Huggins Hospital, Sentinel is providing care Monday - Friday 8-4 pm, (before and after care (1 hour before and 1 hour after available as well).
Located on 629 acres, Sentinel has been a local camp for children since 1949 and has successfully operated 8 weeks of day camp this summer following the local, state and CDC health and safety guidelines. We stand with the local community!
Sentinel Student Care Program is available for students in grades K-12. The purpose is to provide a safe environment where students may continue their remote education with adult supervision and support. Students will have access to the internet, and a quiet space to complete their remote learning, and staff will be available to help assist where needed.
Cost:
Monday - Friday $200 per week
Day fee $50 per day
Before care (7-8am) $5 per day
After care (4-5pm) $5 per day
Details:

Check in/out at the Gatehouse Welcome Center.

Temperature checks taken upon arrival.

Social distancing and face masks when inside and in close proximity.

Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the lodge.

Lunch will be provided.

If your child has food allergies, or is a selective eater it is best for them to bring their own lunch.

After class time Sentinel Staff will lead the students in nature exploration, and fun outdoor activities.

8-8:30am Arrival and Good morning!
8:30-10am Class time
10-10:30am Break
10:30-11:30am Class
11:30-12:30pm Lunch
12:30-2pm Class time
2-3:30pm Afternoon Options / Nature's Classroom
3:30pm Debrief and Departure

How to Register:
(If you are a Huggins Hospital employee there is no cost to you please email program@campsentinel.org to sign your student up)
1. Select your week, or day option above, and pay.
2. Once you have submitted payment email program@campsentinel.org, and let us know what days you are looking for your student to attend.
3. You will then be sent a registration and health form to fill out (you only fill out first two pages of health form).
4. Paying for multiple weeks or days? Use the button below and enter the total price. Please include a note when checking out saying Student Care, and then email program@campsentinel.org
