Pastor Andy Barnes
Camp Pastor July 3rd
Pastor Andy is excited to return for his third summer as camp pastor.
Pastor Andy has been involved at Sentinel for over 35 years, starting as a camper at the very first Little Adventurers.
It remains his joy to share the Good News of Jesus with campers of all ages. Double points for any camper that can explain “propitiation” and its importance to salvation on our first night.
Pastor Mark Jackson
Camp Pastor July 17th
Mark is currently the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lexington, MA where he has been serving since 2008. Mark has always had a heart for teenagers and has been a retreat leader, youth speaker and writer of youth Sunday School Material. He was camp pastor and Bible teacher at other children’s summer camp programs in Missouri and North Carolina prior to his service at Camp Sentinel. Mark is married to his wife, Laura of 21 years and they have one daughter, Alyssa, 16 who has grown up spending time each summer of her life at Camp Sentinel. Alyssa is now a summer camp counselor at Camp Sentinel. This is Mark’s 20th year as a summer camp pastor at Sentinel. Camp Sentinel is such a special place to Mark and his family. They have many meaningful memories from their years here. Mark and his family love living in New England and enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, antiquing and exploring God’s wonderful creation.
Abbi Van Brunt
Assistant Camp Director
Abigail Van Brunt is very excited to be working at camp this summer. She is attending Gordon college in Wenham MA, studying Christian ministry with a focus on youth ministry. During her time at Gordon, she joined the Swim team and loves the community it brings. This summer she will be the assistant camp director. She is excited to roast marshmallows and make amazing memories. Her hobbies include knitting, swimming, and hammocking!

It’s is my pleasure above all to have an opportunity to serve as a believer
at Camp Sentinel.
But more importantly, it is a privilege for me to be a first-time seasonal chef with the Sentinel Christian staff. I have been a Chef at my local church back in Ridge wood NY,for 7 years. I love to cater, listen to worship music and take pleasure in volunteering at functions. I have been a Chef for 9 years.
What a privilege it is to serve for a greater reason as a believer in the faith and at a constructive Camp that Impacts people worldwide.
Tucker Van Brunt
Tucker Van Brunt has lived at camp since 2005, he has breathed the air at camp more than any other staff member. On staff since 2014, he serves as the Story Teller. In this position, he hopes to help enhance and continue to progress Sentinel's marketing, create a welcoming environment for campers and their families, and help to serve behind the scenes with administrative support. Tucker is currently in his senior year at Gordon College where he studies Communication Arts with an interest in Marketing and Public Relations.
Boys Unit Leader
Cody has been serving with Camp Sentinel since 2016. He enjoys talking and laughing with friends, and pancakes. Cody's main hobbies are drawing and programming, and he also spends a lot of time playing video games. He is very friendly, and loves meeting new people. Camp is a very important place for Cody and he does his best to make it a special place for everyone.
Veronica was a camper for 5 years and is very excited to be able to come back as girls program staff for her first summer on staff! She is majoring in Psychology and Ethical Leadership at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. Veronica loves running, art, and to read. She loves camp because it allows her to put down her phone and really focus on God.
Program / Lifeguard
Amber Stillion has been coming to Camp Sentinel since she was six years old and it has been very influential in her walk with Christ. She enjoy reading, swimming, painting, drawing, and writing. This is her second summer on staff at Camp Sentinel.
Tanner Perry has been coming to Sentinel sense 2015, and this will be his first year on staff. During the year, Tanner loves to snowboard, play tennis, and hang out with friends in his hometown of Dover, NH. This summer he is looking forward to meeting new people and helping to change the lives of younger kids. Sentinel has been like a second home, and it feels like a holy place.
Wesley is from Manchester, NH and has been going to Camp Sentinel since 2008 for the Home School Family Retreats. What Wesley loves most is hyping others up and just telling them about Jesus Christ’s love for them. He also loves games, (nerf, gaga, carpet ball, capture the flag) singing, dancing, pizza, and voice impressions. He has helped out at several Church Camp events, ranging from his local one at Faith Baptist Church in Manchester, to Candia Congregational Church’s Wilderness Camp. He loves people and hopes to show everyone that God loves them too!
Emma Gordon has been attending camp since 2014. Some of her favorite things to do are to play with her dog named Moose and to make lots of arts and crafts. Emma also loves to swim and learn and share the word of God. She can’t wait to meet this year’s campers!
Hello, my name is Daniel Pack. The most notable thing to happen within my lifetime was my diagnosis with Type 1 Diabetes, which has really effected my outlook on life in a positive way. I hope to continue to grow and develop as a Christian in the next few years. My plan for this year is to help keep Camp Sentinel as clean as possible so that campers can enjoy their time at camp unhindered. I'm happy to be working with the Camp Sentinel team!
Paige Colburn has been working at camp since 2021 and is excited for her second summer. She started going to camp in 2010, but her first summer was in 2005. She will be a senior at Tilton school, and plays lacrosse while also being a part of the theater program. She loves to read and spend time with her friends. Paige's favorite part of camp is playing gaga ball and making new friends. She is really excited to meet the campers this summer!
Alicia Barbon is from Groton Massachusetts. She has been coming to camp since 2015. She has a passion for music and art. She likes to play her guitar, and to spend time outside. She loves her cats and her bird. She is looking forward to meeting the campers and being able to get closer to God this summer.
Aidan Thompson is from Tuftonboro NH and is excited to be on swing staff for his second year. He has been coming to Camp Sentinel since 2012. Aidan is a currently a sophomore at Kingswood Regional High School. When not at school or camp. Aidan is on the Varsity Nordic Team at Kingswood and he enjoys kayaking and four wheeling and spending time with his cat Zoey.
Leanne Daigneau Swing Staff
Leanne is very excited to join the Sentinel team this year! She has been attending camp and the Christian Community Youth Group at Sentinel since 2020. Leanne likes to figure skate, play volleyball, and read. She is very excited to meet all the campers this summer and help them grow closer to God!
Pastor Matt Beem
Camp Pastor July 10th
Matt Beem was born and raised right here in the Lakes Region. Like many in this area, he did not grow up attending church. Matt came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 25 while living in Phoenix, AZ. He initially served as a contemporary worship leader in several Phoenix churches. Sensing a call to pastoral ministry, Matt earned his MDiv. from Fuller Theological Seminary. In 2014, he returned to his native New Hampshire in order to serve God in the place he calls home. Matt currently serves as the lead pastor of The Baptist Church of Franklin, NH.
Pastor Brandon Dupuis
Camp Pastor July 24th
Brandon was raised in northern NH and only left the area to serve in United States Marine Corps. When his term ended, after returning home from Iraq wounded, he moved back to NH. During this season he chose to dedicate his life to the Lord and marry his longtime childhood friend, Jamie. They now raise their 4 children in the same home he grew up in. Brandon felt the call to ministry 9 years ago, which began with Prison Ministry and being a leader of a prayer team out of Oklahoma. Shortly after that, he went on to enroll in Bible College and then served as a Children’s pastor for 4 years. He then felt the call to move on to become the Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church in Berlin NH and Jefferson Christian Church in Jefferson NH. This is Brandon’s 5th year as camp Pastor at Sentinel. Camp Sentinel is a very important part of his family and their ministry as a whole! His wife also serves as one of the Board Members for camp and his children enjoy being campers each year!
Natalie is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is excited to serve her second summer at Camp Sentinel this year. She attends Oral Roberts University during the school year and is majoring in Ministry & Leadership and minoring in Hebrew. She enjoys the outdoors, playing video games, and going on spontaneous road trips. She is excited to lead others to grow in their relationship with Christ this summer! She always has a story up her sleeve, just ask her to share one.
Kiersten Beam is excited to be a part of Camp Sentinel's Staff this summer as Assistant cook. She has been coming to Camp Sentinel since about 2010 and she has continued to come throughout the years till she was old enough to volunteer and eventually work at Camp Sentinel. She loves to swim, play ultimate frisbee and talk with the campers and staff around her. She has a wonderful heart of God and she is excited to meet you all!
Girls Unit Leader
Olivia has been working at camp Sentinel since 2019, and she can’t wait to come back for another summer! Olivia is majoring in music therapy at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma, and is very passionate about helping people, and playing music. She enjoys night swimming, roasting marshmallows, and spending time with friends. She loves camp and is excited about spending the love of God to her campers and everyone else this summer!
This is Aletheia James’ second year serving at Camp Sentinel, and she is so excited to be here! Even though her full name is Aletheia, she goes by Lee because it’s much easier for people to pronounce. Lee values her walk with God, and strives to find ways to serve him using her talents. Some of Lee’s favorite things to do are hiking, writing, drama, basketball, and art. Lee loves art of almost any sort, and she especially loves to make art about God's creation!
Jacob Manning is from Bow, NH and is a junior at Bow High School. He has been coming to Camp Sentinel with his family since he was born in 2005, as a day camp & overnight camper since 2011, and this will be his second year on staff. In his free time, Jacob enjoys snowboarding, riding his dirt bike, and fishing. He loves being at camp and feeling the presence of God and is looking forward to sharing the love of Jesus with the campers!
Alyssa Jackson Program
Hello! My name is Alyssa Jackson! I've been working here at camp since 2021. I like to dance, play board games, do makup, and spend time with friends and family. This summer, I am very excited to roast smores and have fun!
Elissa Boucher is from Antrim, New Hampshire. She has been serving as Sentinel's Camp Nurse/Wellness Coordinator since 2014 and in other roles since 1999. Elissa has her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing and is currently licensed in the State of New Hampshire as a registered nurse. She is really excited to meet all the children and coordinate any medical care that is needed while at camp. Outside of camp Elissa likes to read non-fiction and fictional historical books. She also likes archery and goes target practicing in her free time. She is a big New England sports fan and tries to watch or listen to as many of the Red Sox games as possible. Elissa is always excited to see all that God does at Sentinel, and she looks forward to seeing and experience his blessings this summer.
Olivia is an identical twin and is homeschooled. She has been attending camp since 2014. Some things
she enjoys is riding and training her horses, atv-ing, and working out. Olivia is super excited to meet all of
the campers this summer and share the love of Jesus with them.
Tegan Perkins is native to Tuftonboro and has been going to camp since he was 6 year old aka 2010. He loves camp and wants to keep learning about god and what he can do. Tegan is a junior in high school, at (KRHS) Kingswood Regional High School. Yet Tegan enjoys playing chess, video games, and oddly enough biking. Tegan is looking forward to this summer and is excited to help and make the world of God a better place.
Bri has been attending camp since 2015, but it is her first summer on staff. She lives in Warner, NH and goes to Kearsarge Regional High School. She loves skiing, hanging out with friends, and cuddling her dog. She enjoys being involved in school clubs. She is very excited to grow in her faith and show her love for God to others this summer.
On staff since 2019, Christopher has taken on various roles both in and out of the kitchen. He is, however, more than excited to take on the role of program staff for the first time this summer! Outside of camp, he enjoys directing for Perform It!, a local youth theatre company that performs Shakespeare. His other hobbies include music, hiking, and Calligraphy.
Noah Wingate is returning for his fourth year on the housekeeping staff. From New Durham NH, Noah enjoys kayaking and gaga ball during the Sentinel season, and snowboarding in the winter. He looks forward to working with the housekeeping staff and having fun this summer.
Kylie has been coming to camp since 2010 and loves reading and music. She is looking forward to this summer and can’t wait to meet the campers!
